Registering for Classes

How do I register for classes?

You can sign up using our online scheduling system here.

Do I have to pay ahead for the classes I want to take?

Yes, all registrants are required to pay ahead of time online to protect against no-shows.  We want to make sure everyone has a good chance of getting into the class that they want to take, especially during our busy times.  You can either use your existing class package to reserve your spot or make an online payment when you book to drop in.  If online payments will not work for you, please contact info@girlfightfit.com to see if we can make other arrangements.

I have a Groupon voucher.  How do I use it to register for classes?

Please read the detailed instructions for Groupon voucher redemption on the main FAQ page here.

How do I check how many classes I have left?

To check the number of classes you have remaining, log into your account and click on the "Home" tab.  Under the "Active Passes" section, check the "Visits Left" field to see how many classes are on your account.  Please note that this number does not include any future reservations on your account, which will be debited at the time attendance for that class is taken.

Can I share a pass with someone else?

We have a family policy at Girl Fight so that you can share a pass with someone else in your household (i.e. a mother and daughter).  In order to share your pass, please follow these instructions:

  1. Purchase your pass through the parent or master account.
  2. Make sure the person you would like to share with has their own Girl Fight account.
  3. Email info@girlfightfit.com indicating which person you'd like to share with and how many passes you'd like to give them.
  4. We will transfer the specified number of classes over to the other account.  Please allow at least 24 hours for us to perform the transfer.
  5. Each account must sign up for classes independently of the other (i.e. a mother must sign up for classes using her account and the daughter must sign up for classes using her own separate account).

The class I want to take is full.  Is there a wait list?

If the class you want to take is full, you can choose to be included on the wait list in case a spot opens.  When making your reservation, click on "Sign Up For Waitlist" when prompted.  You will receive an email if a spot opens in the class.  This email goes to everyone on the wait list, so be sure to grab the spot right away if you want it.  Just open the email you receive and click on "Yes - I'll Take the Spot".  After your reservation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

Cancelling Class Reservations

How do I cancel my reservation?

Log into your account, click on the "Home" tab, and find the section labeled "Reservations in Upcoming Classes."  If you need to cancel your reservation, click "cancel reservation" next to the class.  If you have done this more than 6 hours prior to the class start time, your account will not be charged for your spot.  If you have cancelled less than 6 hours before the class start time, you are still responsible for the class cost since it is too late to expect someone else to take your spot.  When attendance is taken, you will be marked as a "No Show" and a class credit will be deducted from your account.

NOTE: All class cancellations must occur via the Online Scheduler.  Girl Fight will not accept cancellations made via phone or email.

How far ahead do I have to cancel my reservation if I know I can't make it to class?

If you need to cancel your reservation, you have up to 6 hours before the class starts to do so without penalty. Your account will be credited the unused classes. If you cancel less than 6 hours before the class starts, you will still be responsible for the class cost.

I have a hectic schedule and often don’t know if I can make it to class until the last minute. How do I avoid being penalized the late cancellation fee if I can’t make it?

We totally understand that schedules can be crazy sometimes. If you know ahead of time (prior to the 6-hour late-cancellation window) that there is a chance you may not be able to make it to class, the best option may be to cancel your reservation to avoid being penalized, and then waiting to see whether or not the class is full before you drive to the studio (if it turns out that you can make it after all). We will always accept non-registrants as long as there is room for you in the class. However, we cannot guarantee there will be a free spot, so there is a risk involved. If you choose classes that are less heavily-attended, you have a higher probability that the class will not fill up.

What if I am sick?

If you are not feeling well, please make a determination PRIOR to the 6-hour late-cancellation window as to whether or not you will attend class.  If you decide to keep your reservation and still cannot attend, you are still responsible for the class cost because someone on the wait list could have taken your spot.  If you are feeling a cold coming on, or have been ill for several days, please plan ahead and cancel your classes accordingly.  You should be taking the time to rest your body and limit the chances that you will spread the illness to others.

Can I switch my class reservation from one class to another class on the same day?

You are welcome to switch classes as long as it is prior to the 6-hour late-cancellation window.  Simply cancel your current class reservation and then register for the other class.  However, if it is after the 6-hour window, you will still be responsible for your initial class reservation.  You can still attend the other class instead, but you would be charged for your other reservation as well.  The best strategy is to plan ahead and make sure to switch classes before the 6-hour window begins.

NOTE: All class reservations and cancellations must be made using the Online Scheduler.  Girl Fight cannot accept any class changes via phone or email.
