What is Endure-Fit?

Endure-Fit is a cross-training method for endurance athletes.  The Endure-Fit approach focuses on improving sports performance through functional strength, core work, balance, flexibility, and mobility.  This is all the stuff we SHOULD be doing when we're not running, cycling, etc., but usually neglect.

Who should do Endure-Fit?

Endure-Fit is specifically tailored to the needs of runners, swimmers, cyclists, triathletes, and anyone else wanting to improve sports performance.  That said, everyone can benefit from the exercises, drills, and stretches provided by this training method.  Through consistent practice of Endure-Fit techniques, you can help improve your total body strength, mobility, and flexibility.

Why is Endure-Fit important?

Endure-Fit focuses on helping the body move better as a unit.  If you build a strong foundation, you can perform better and help protect against injury.

The five Endure-Fit principles are:

  1. Functional Strength
  2. Core Strength
  3. Balance
  4. Flexibility
  5. Mobility

Improving these areas will help the body improve overall while doing other activities.  Whether it's running a 5K or pushing a cart through the supermarket, Endure-Fit is important to add to your fitness regimen.

Endure-Fit workouts can be done individually or performed as group cross-training classes.  It's an excellent option for sports teams looking to improve their fitness.
